Yellow Breeches, 11/02/24
I met up with Tammy, Chris and Frank for a full day on the stream. We fished from 8AM until 2:30PM. We left early because all three were extremely happy with todays results. The water was clear and low and ranged from 50 to 53 degrees. We did see some midges and a few rising trout. We all started with dry/droppers. Frank changed over to nymphs. I worked with Tammy and Chris since Frank had stream experience. I got them up to speed on reading water and they both were rolling browns on the dropper. Chris put a nice 16 inch rainbow in the net and Tammy landed her first ever fly rod trout. It was a small rainbow. Checked on Frank and he had 5 on the hook and landed one before lunch. We ended the day with watching Frank land a nice rainbow. It was a pleasure to be on the stream with them. They can’t wait to got out again.
