Yellow Breeches, 11/03/24

I knew this was going to be an interesting funny morning after talking with Steve. We started at 8:30 and finished at noon. The water is low, clear and was 46 degrees. It was sunny and 35 and warmed to 55 degrees. He wanted me to work on his casting and then get on the stream to see the techniques we will be doing for steelhead on November 17. He took a casting lesson and was confused. In 10 minutes, I had him casting 30 feet. OMG, Steve is so funny! His jokes and talking to other people watching along the bank made for a humorous morning. He told me he expects to catch nothing. We fished with nymphs off an indicator like we would be doing for steelhead. Steve missed two and landed a nice brown. He told me, “Man I learned so much and was now extremely confident about fly fishing for trout”. That’s what I want. You fish with me and know even more after the end of the trip. Oh boy, can’t wait to be with him in Erie. I still have dates open and Ben John is booked. I have November 9-15 and 24-26. Book with us and we will give you a code for a special rate at the Wyndam Hotel.
