Yellow Breeches, 06/21/23

I met up with Dave at 7:30AM and we fished until 1:00PM. We took a quick tour of Mountain Creek. It has been 8 years since Dave and I were out on the water together. This time around he wanted to see the upper Yellow Breeches, access points and fish. It was cloudy and windy out with the weather approaching. The water was clear, 64 degrees and very few bugs. We did see some rising trout so we just went with dry/droppers and worked over several sections and kept moving from spot to spot. Dave did very well. He missed a brown and a rainbow both well into high teens. He landed at least 10 browns and all takes were on the dropper. It was another fun day. I still have openings and with the rain coming the great fishing will only continue.
