Conococheague, 06/23/23
I took a little drive to see how the streams were shaping up. Man were we blessed! The rain that fell has brough all the freestone streams back up and they are in amazing shape. They still are flowing in the low 60’s and plenty of insects still hatching. So it looks like trout fishing will definitely continue for many weeks to come. I was going to fish for at least 2 hours, but I got booked at the last minute, so I headed back home to get ready for a Sunday trip. I did however catch a small brown on MH BH green caddis. Dates will go fast now since we got the rain. The Conococheague, Mountain Creek, Yellow Breeches and some of the blue line brook trout streams are prime for fishing. Don’t forget spring creeks fish consistently year round. It’s a great time to book a trip, give me a call at 717-321-5160. Also check out my new blog online at my website www.fallingsprings.com.
