Yellow Breeches, 06/17/23

Well I met up again with Dave and Joe again and the shenanigans once again started in the parking lot at Precision’s Mt. Holly location. I had a blast with them on Thursday and today was just the same. My stomach hurt from all the laughing. We fished from 8AM until noon. It was partly cloudy and mid 70’s. The water was clear, 61 degrees and a few caddis. We had a few rising trout and still stuck with the dry/droppers. Joe and Dave were into them, but missed at least 4 trout, but ended up landing a nice rainbow and a very nice brown trout. We did not end up only friends, but a true friendship. It was not a shake of hands at the end of the day. It was hugs and can’t wait to do it again. I will and aways will be a trip to remember.

Once I got home, I wanted to hit a few golf balls. On #7, Tracy and I met a couple, Jim and Trish, who asked if we wanted to pair up. I mentioned that I was just out wacking a few balls to take my mind off of fishing. Jim said is your name Mike? and so it begins. One thing leads to another and we are deep into fly fishing talk. We totally enjoyed meeting them and now we have met yet another pair of wonderful people from the “Ville”.
