Yellow Breeches, 05/13/24

I met up again with Derrix and Naomi to fish the morning with them. We met around 8AM and fished until 11:30AM. The sun was to be out, but it stayed cloudy. The air was 45 at the start and warmed to 68 degrees. The water flow is incredible. It is flowing 58 degrees and stained with the rain and yet more to come!. Finally seen a bunch of tan caddis flying around but still just a few rises. They both fished with nymphs and did amazing. We hit one spot, but then they wanted me to just show them around to other areas to fish. So we hit three beats of water I like. They caught trout in each and every one of them. Naomi rolled a big brown easily 16 inches. With wat we lost, missed and landed, it was easily a double digit morning. So fun to be with these two veterans!!! Thank them and all for your service.

You don’t want to miss out on this awesome season we are having. I still have May 27th, 28th & 30th, June 3rd, 7th, 12th thru 14th, 16th & 28th. With the water, July will be just as good. July dates have started to fill but openings avaiable.
