Current Stream Conditions, 3/31/22
We could have used the rain today, but all we got from this front was heavy winds. All the spring creeks are in fine shape, as always. The freestone streams are clear and will be fishing very well for weeks to come. The spring hatches of caddis, mayflies and midges have been a daily occurrence. The trout fishing has been fantastic. Come Saturday all the PA trout streams will be open. That means we can hit some great native brook trout streams and some of the lesser known spring creek streams I guide on. In May and June I still have plenty of openings, but in April I'm down to the 6th, 7th, 8th, 20th, 27th and 28th. Simply message or call for an amazing day in PA or MD.
