SCPA Area Streams, 06/14/23
I did not get a chance to fish today. I had a zoom meeting with Precision Fly and Tackle. However I did have some errands to run. The spring creeks are in great shape but the little mountain streams are low. We are finally getting some rain and it is helping. The water temperatures on the spring creeks are as usual, 54 degrees. The freestone streams still are running cooler than past years. They are still in the 60’s. The trout are very active and feeding. I still have plenty of dates open for guiding. Trico season is upon us for the summer. Terrestrial season is in full swing and I’m still seeing plenty of caddis on the water. I’m also going to start doing wade trips for smallmouth bass . If interested in either trout of bass give me a call. It has been a great year and it continues still.
