Nunnery Run 4/5/22

I tied flies in the morning and headed off to the stream for two hours. I wanted to check out a stream I had not fished for a while and it did not disappoint me. Nunnery is a little spring creek and is was clear and 53 degrees. There were plenty of midges and some little tan caddis hatching with some trout on the rise for the bugs. I tied on a dry caddis and a dropper and stared to work the water. I was refused many times with my offerings, but I figured them out. I changed up to some CDC caddis and some small BH green caddis. I had a blast before the yard work and rain came. I picked up 4 nice wild rainbows and 5 stocked trout. I have dates available for some amazing trout fishing in PA or MD.
