I received a phone call around 9PM Thursday night form James. He wanted to know if I could got out Friday morning. We tired last year to get out, but weather just would not cooperate. But luck was in the air and we fished from 9:30AM to just before 1PM. It was very overcast with a damp breeze. The air temperature was 48-52 degrees. The water was 51 degrees and for some reason a little tinted. There was nothing hatching so we high-sticked tandem nymphs the entire time. All I can say James had an epic time. He also wanted to see me fish with his T&T Contact II 10’ rod. We both missed a few. He landed three 15 to 17 inch rainbows and 4 browns. I also landed two trout. That was James first trout he has landed in PA and he can’t wait to get on the water again with me. Awesome time spent with a great guy!
