I took a break from fly tying today to enjoy the awesome weather. It was sunny 70 degrees and a little light wind. The water was clear, little low and 51 degrees. I saw some Blue Duns and caddis hatching as well as some midges and craneflies flying around. There were some other anglers out, but plenty of water to work over. I found many different runs with trout feeding just inches below the surface. I used a dry as an indicator and started with my BH green caddis. I did not change. I picked up 18 rainbows from 8 to 16 inches. Was great to be out. Still have plenty of dates open for guiding. You can call to reach out to me directly or book through the Precision Fly and Tackle website.. My calendar is live on the web site.
