James and I fished the “Jig” for the morning. It was sunny, windy and warmed up to 80 degrees. We fished to just after noontime. The was was very clear, 63 degrees and we had a few trout rising to some tan caddis. I had my rod set up with nymphs, but we just fished dry/droppers for most of the morning. I Gave James the nymph set up for one run and he had one on. The trout were sporadically rising and we did well with the dries. James missed and lost a very nice brown. We put three in the net. It was a great morning and was happy to share what I think is an amazing trout stream.
