Man I love the fall fly fishing bite. I tied flies till 12:45 and hit the water from 1PM to 3PM. It was 66 degrees and abundant sunshine with a little breeze. The water was perfect flow, clear and thru my Skwala RS waders I could feel the stream’s chill. There were some BWO’s, midges and a few caddis hatching with some rising activity. I was just in the mood to break out the T&T Lotic loaded with my textured SA fly line and fish. It was dry flies or nothing. I hit two spots for about 20 minutes. Started out by just tossing some line to get ready and “Bam”. Well, did not see that coming. Strike 1 for the fly guide. After that, I landed three browns and then the last 45 minutes I went upstream and picked up a few nice brook trout.

Next week the fall weather will be spot on! I’m available from Tuesday through Friday for full or half days. If you don’t need guided, the specials I’m offering on my website is what I’m catch all my trout on.
