I got up this morning and finished up the rest of the 26 dozen for Dette Trout flies. Then a order came in for a gentleman who needed it ASAP and got his Sulphur set done. After that, I started to get ready for my Smallmouth float trip on Friday and a trout trip on Saturday. The I did some yard work and then I decided it was time for a little break before Tracy came home for supper. I went below my house for about 40 minutes. It was sunny and 71 degrees. The water was flowing great and 55 degrees. I seen plenty of caddis flying around as well as some craneflies. I had a rod in my truck already set up from a previous guide trip with a caddis dry and a Mike’s BH green caddis dropper. So I went with that. I just needed to get on the water. I worked down the stream and finally found three rainbows that fell for my BH green caddis. All I needed to get refreshed.
