I started tying fly orders at 8AM today and around 2PM, I decided to get on the 4-wheeler at take a quick trip above the house. The stream was clear and 39 degrees and I saw plenty of midges and a few Little Black Stoneflies. It was mostly sunny out and 57 degrees. I did not find any trout rising so I fished double nymphs off a New Zealand Indicator and then tossed some streamers. Man did I get a 2 hour fix. I landed three browns 12-16 inches and then a real good rainbow. Depending what orders come in tonight, I plan on a little three stream trip Monday. The fishing is already great, only going to get better so time to get a trip booked now. Hope to see you at Cabin Fever next weekend and then in Lancaster on the 4th & 5th of March. I will be doing seminars both days.
