Casting lesson and stream tour, 06/01/24
Glenn and Tamara moved back into the area and she was interested in learning how to fly fish. So Glenn brought along his grandson and we set off to the pond. Glenn said he was just going to sit and enjoy, then we would get out later this year. Glenn and I have fished a long time ago and he knows what to do. This morning was all about his wife and grandson. We left around 8AM and by 9:15AM they were casting well into the 40’ range. Fun thing about the pond they landed 1 largemouth bass and several bluegills. After that, I showed them some of the water on the “Jig” It is still in prime shape. Plenty of water and still 58 degrees. We did not really see anything hatching but did see some feeding trout. That was an awesome morning.
