Beaver Creek, 9/9/22
I had to work the fly shop 11 to close so I decided to hit the water for a little morning fun. It did not disappoint. I hit the stream just before 9AM and fished to 10:45. It was cloudy and 74 degrees. The water was clear and 55 degrees. The only thing I saw flying around were midges and a few mosquitos bugging me. I fished with terrestrials and then switched to nymphs. I picked up two browns on a cricket and then three more on cress bugs and Mike’s Simple Shrimp. It was a great morning to start a day at Precision Fly and Tackle. I have many dates open and fall fishing is going to be fantastic.
