Yellow Breeches, 04/27/25

It was so fun to get Tom out on they water today. It was Brandy’s birthday present to him since he has always wanted to fish with me. They have become family friends and they are the best. Water is the same however the very cool night dropped the water temperature to 47 degrees at 8AM. Tom set up his Euro rod for nymphs and we set off and fished until almost 1PM under sunny, breezy skies. I was a good, but tough start. We were into trout, but the takes went almost unnoticed. It was the cool water but like the last few days ,once it got into the 50’s takes were a little more noticeable. Tom still had my net busy. He landed at least 10 by the time we called it. That was a fun morning and loving my new RS Skwala wading boots.
