Yellow Breeches, 02/09/24
I had such a great educational 1/2 day with Eric and Troy. We fished from 9AM until 1PM. Cloudy skies became sunny by 11AM. It was 40 degrees and warmed to 56 by the time we finished up. The water was tinted, 46 and nothing hatching. I set them up with nymphs off indicators and showed them several nymphing techniques. The takes were very subtle which is the norm for winter fishing. My BH green caddis, eggs and my MH black stonefly was the ticket. We had a great time. They had around 10 hook-ups and landed one wild brown trout. It was a great time and we will be doing it again with the wives the next time.
