Falling Springs 3/10/22

I had to go to Precision Fly and Tackle to drop off some posters. I took a quick break from tying to hit the stream for about 1 hour. I fished from 9 to 10:15AM. It was 38 degrees and still heavy frost on the ground. The water was clear, 52 degrees and nothing hatching yet. I hit a few runs in the middle of the fly only area and did well. I fished a double nymph rig off 4X. I had a cream midge larva and my bottom fly was my shrimp. I fished them tight to the bottom. I picked up two rainbows, one 6 inches the other 10 inches and a smaller brown. I hope to hit Beaver Creek Friday morning before opening the shop.
