Last time Arthur and I fished was on Beaver Creek a month back. I told him to travel to my neck of the woods and he would not be disappointed. To say the least he now wants to come back and see all the other great opportunities we have for trout and warmwater fish. We started at 8AM and finished up at noon under sunny and 80 degree weather. The water was clear, 59 degrees with some caddis and BWO’s hatching. However the trout were hooked on terrestrials except for a 15 inch brown that fell for my CDC caddis. Within 30 minutes, Arthur said wow what great fishing. Terrestrials ruled the day with 5 missed and 9 to the net. Another fantastic morning for SCPA spring creek fly fishing.
