Conococheague, 7/7/22

My good buddy from Cool Water Outfitters showed up at the house at 8AM and we took off for a little fishing and whatever we decided to do. For Tim and I it was a, “guides day off”. We were going to hit the tricos, but decided to head to the mountains. We received a bunch of rain the night before and it has the Jig flowing great. It was a little stained, but still cool enough to fish. It was cloudy and very muggy out. There was nothing really hatching, but we had plenty of action on dry/droppers. We caught and yes missed a bunch of native brook trout. Even with the heat, the fishing is still fantastic. Can wait till we do it again in two weeks.
