Antietam Creek, 6/28/22
Basil and Tanapong arrived at my house just before 8AM and we took off and fished until just before 1PM. The water was crystal clear, low but still only 64 degrees. We did see a few trout rising, but 4 fly anglers were already on the water so some trout were already on the hide. We took a walk and got on some unfished water. They picked up 5 small browns before we moved into the mountain section. We fished for about another 90 minutes and missed a few juvenile natives. Basil hooked a 16” brown and Tanapong got a nice native brook trout. It was a fun morning and can’t wait till we fish again come fall. There is plenty of great trout fishing ahead. Don’t be afraid to book a trip. We will catch!
