Falling Springs, 03/17/23

I went to the Beaver Creek Fly Shop this morning to put up the wader rack. I left around 1:30 and was on the stream by 2PM. It was done raining, cloudy and 55 degrees out. The water was clear, 52 and plenty of midges hatching. I seen several trout rising, but I left my dry fly spool at the house and I did not want to change leaders out. I decided to fish the riffles and picked up four rainbows from 6 to 13 inches. I was fishing my shrimp and cress bugs tandem set-ups. The I nipped off the cress bug and picked up my last rainbow on my Mike’s Baetis nymph. Back to the house to put a huge hook order away.
